The album cover to How Fly, the recently released collaboration between Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y, is as lazy as the production on the mixtape, which prompted me to post the above picture of super model and former DiCaprio pin cushion, Bar Rafaeli. For a mixtape that had a good deal of promise and hype from yours truly, it’s disappointing (nothing new for Wiz these days) to blatantly hear how little effort went into this project. Each of the 15 tracks has a different name, but you can hardly tell, since the beats sound so similar and the lyrical subject matter lethargically bounces back and forth between weed, booze, and bitches. Be sure to listen with tempered expectations. As for me, I’ve gotta keg to crush with Jake and Sacman Jones. See you on the other side.
