Richmond, VA rapper Sleaze is one of those emcees who would have easily made his paper work in the 90′s. Not to say that his music is dated, it’s not, however, consumers are increasingly commercialized, and that Sleaze is not. His content pushes the limits of our willingness to tackle social issues in our music, yet lacks any dogma that forces you to listen. The result is a hybrid sound, think REKS meets Sean Price, but way more chill. This track is hot off his press, and features a hauntingly contagious beat boasting robot sounds and mysterious string picks. It is the first single from his forthcoming release “Broad Street Boogie”, if you’re looking for a rapper to add your playlist, put Sleaze in your on-deck circle. He’s been patiently waiting.
