British street apparel line ASPECKS has branched off into sponsoring some creative projects of their own. This collaboration with London Funky House boys JammTyme is a great example of how a collaborative effort can serve well those that invest. UNDRCRWN Fall 2009 Collection

Currently my favorite line of ‘urban’ apparel, I was pretty stoked when I saw the new collection for UNDRCRWN. The brand is a sort of a hybrid between luxury and performance, with an underlying stylistic focus on what they call “basketball lifestyle.” I don’t know about all that, but the Mos Def Collection was dope, so dope I can ignore the endorsement of Asher Roth, for now. Bold colors and irreverent hip hop references define the Fall 2009 collection. So if you’re steez is colorful and hip (hop), than wear the uniform this season.

Zebra Is Food Exclusive: Zebra is Food X Aspecks

When zebras keep together as a big group, the patte­rn of each zebra’s stripes blends in with the stripes of the zebras around it. This is confusing to the lion, who sees a large, moving, striped mass instead of many individual zebras. The lion has trouble picking out any one zebra, and so it doesn’t have a very good plan of attack.

Taking a page out of the zebra manual, we’ve teamed up with British apparel line Aspecks! Aspecks is a unique company, focused on driving home a message that at times may seem hard to identify, but hell, complexity is what fuels the 21st century. We deem this partnership to be a major factor coverage wise, especially in the grime and drum and bass scene. Aspecks however is a clothing line at the end of the day, and we’re pumped about the opportunity to team up with an apparel company that we can relate to. Check out the Aspecks shop and their blog. The gear is showcased in the video below. Hopefully I can get a “Jake” discount code hooked up or something for the Zebreezy faithful. In the meantime, enjoy watching us bridge the transatlantic gap.
