Something new from ZIF favorite A.R.M featuring one of the best MCs from the continent (Africa) - Tumi of (Tumi & the volume). Word is the album uprising (which this song is featured on) will be the 1st and last full length A.R.M will ever put out as a trio. My man M.anifest is doing big things, and with his intimate connection to Ghana/Africa, I expect him to be a big part of the unifying bridge between mainstream U.S. hip hop and bringing in more African rap acts, much like Macho Rapper, who I was telling you guys about a while back.

Brother Ali + Freeway + Joell Ortiz = Best@It

Free warms it up, Joell gets the blood flowing, and Ali straight bludgeons the track.  The leaks off of Brother Ali’s fourth full-length album “US” have been a bit grandiose and self-righteous (I mean, he has a song on his upcoming album called “The Preacher”).  But for one song, at least, it seems he’s summoned some of that “Champion Sound,” not content to let a battle MC like Joell Ortiz outdo him on his own album.

We can all thank White Van Musician Jake One for linking Brother Ali with Freeway.  Throw Joell in the mix and you got chemistry.
