Joe Budden loses his most prized (Ass)et!

Video models walk a fine line with a fat ass and that ain’t easy to do! On the one hand they have to exude sex and erotica, all in a manner that emulates a stripper on a busy night in Atlanta. However, if the video model wants to secure girlfriend status with the celebrity, i.e. Amber Rose/Kanye, she must be careful not to sell herself short. Yes, at the end of the day it’s all about how magnanimous her booty may be, but there needs to be a certain ‘je ne sais quois’ that draws in the masses, and most importantly the rap superstars. In the case of Amber Rose a massive part of her appeal is the fashionista/thirsty/hood/couture mixture she has manifested in her public aesthetics.

In the case of Joe Budden’s recent girlfriend Tahiry, her appeal may be a little more accessible. Graced with one of the largest assess on the planet, Tahiry has been featured in XXL and King Magazine, both photo shoots are somewhat legendary. She broke up with Budden a few days ago, and will most definitely be parlaying that TMZ buzz into a new celebrity beau friend. Her special talent? Making jaws drop and rappers cry. Yo Joey, I guess Slaughterhouse has been a little too encompassing of a project. You went out to play with the piggies even though you had bacon at home. PETA is known for their splashes. Their marketing team must sit on golden toilet seats, because when it comes to ad campaigns, PETA is the beau monde. Part of PETA’s success can be attributed to the somewhat recent phenomenon of celebrity sponsorship. Pamela Anderson is by far the most well known PETA advocate, having thrown her support behind the activist organization for over a decade, specifically causing a ruckus when she posed nude for the “I’d rather go naked than wear fur” campaign in 2003. Now PETA has its eyes set on another nude celebrity expose. this time on a “Grander” scale, Grand Hustle artist T.I. to be specific. I think they read my post, because they were able to send him this letter quite easily:

It’s hilarious that PETA references their previous campaigns with Russell Simmons, Masta Killa, Michael Strahan and Ron Artest! I guess PETA figured the incarcerated gangster rapper wouldn’t appreciate Christy Turlington and Danity Kane references quite as much. The whole offer stinks as far as I’m concerned. I believe that this is a very underhanded response to the black community about Michael Vick. PETA doesn’t get much love in the ATL, this has much to do with the stigmatic effect of its treatment of the Vick saga. They won’t offer Vick an easy out, like doing a huge campaign for them, because simply put, it’s not in their best interests. Just as Bush needed “Osama Bin Laden”, PETA needs Michael Vick. PETA needs a dark villain, and no that’s not a reference to his skin tone, rather to the symbolic significance of fear in any advocacy campaign. Essentially the message is, “Human nature is monstrous, the proof are monsters, like Mike Vick.” What better way to buy some credit back in that region than by getting co-signed by the King of the South, incarcerated and naked to boot!

Okay, so the same week Cassie’s leaked photos are released to the public, Rihanna also is big news in the pop media scene with multiple nude photos of her in a hotel w/ Chris Brown. Now, I know something is wrong when my MOM sees these photos and asks, “(GASP!!) Who are these girls?? Why would they take these pictures?”.  LoL.  She was SO confused, it was hilarious.  I was not surprised when I saw Rihanna’s naked pictures posted online.  I’m sure she saw how much media attention it brought Cassie and how many more “followers” she got after her nude photos were leaked (Cassie’s Followers almost doubled on Twitter after her boobies were revealed to the world).  Rihanna’s photos are a bit raunchier than Cassie’s. Truly a “Good Girl Gone Bad”.  The funniest pic to me was of Chris Brown wearing what appeared to be Rihanna’s pink panties wrapped around his head covering his eyes like a mask.  I don’t know the story behind Rihann’a leaked photos, other than it may be a desperate attempt to get Followers on Twitter, more media attention, and prove to the world that she really has become a Bad Girl and there’s no turning back.  I’m a fan of both these women in the industry.  Why? Maybe because they embody the type of women I come across everyday, and I also see small aspects of myself in them. It’s actually entertaining to talk about these women’s sexual explorations and witness them expressing masculine and feminine qualities. Cassie’s 1/4shaved head and leaked photos, and Rihanna’s recent appearance at the NYC Costume Institute Gala dressed in a Dolce & Gabbana suit/tie and leaked photos are related to some aspect of them coming into their womanhood, exploring their sexuality, and re-defining themselves.  But, I have to question why we all are so enthralled with these stories and leaked photos? Is it the actual ‘nakedness’ that we are excited about? Or, that we secretly have all gone through this kind of sexual expression and openness at some point in our adult lives and get intrigued when we are visually stimulated by others going through the same?  It just so happens that while these women are going through this natural form of development and exploration at this time in their lives, everyone has an opinion because of their exposed celebrity status.  What a burden to bear. I hope that they can move forward from these experiences and continue to find out who they truly are as women and how they will use this type of exposure (however negative or positive) to change themselves and/or influence others. I’m curious to know though, which one do you think has the nicer piercings? So I’m driving to work this morning and hear Big Boy on Power 106 mention something about a leaked nude Cassie photo. I was like, LoL. Nawww, not true, it’s not her! Welp, come to find out a blogger BoxKev (Jake, you can choose to include his name or keep him anonymous) hacked into Cassie’s computer and posted nude photos obviously taken by herself. I initially felt embarrassed for her, but actually she doesn’t seem to be too bothered by it. Making comments on her Twitter like, “[it was] real Foul and Evil. Now stop acting like you haven’t seen a Titty before.” She has been super lowkey in the scene recently, shaving her head – Clearly re-discovering herself I’m sure . So, it’s no surprise that BoxKev claims to have been “followed” by Cassie after the photos were posted, and then blocked by her an hour later. Random activity. I think she secretly wanted to thank him for the mass exposure she’s getting in the media considering she comes out with one hit every year, then disappears. I think she’s proud of her nipple rings and wanted photos for herself and possibly to share with close lovers/friends. Nothing wrong with that Cassie! This situation clearly makes me question our privacy on computers, as well as expose real stalkers of celebs who actually take the time to hack computers and post pics. Clearly, he doesn’t care too much either and considers it a joke, otherwise he would have sold the pics instead of carelessly leaking them on his blog page. Regardless, hopefully she can use this as a space to come back out in the scene with more clout. She def has a new fan base now. haha Stay up Cassie!
