I like how this song will get played in a club and the very people dancing to it are the muses whom Santigold lucidly degrades in her lyrics, it’s like the opposite of “preaching to the choir”. Santigold is the buzz of the day , having leaked her album Master of My Make-Believe for streaming here. After giving it the run through, I must say that I am excited about the diversity in production. Yes, Diplo has production on it, how could he not? However, production from Switch and Q-Tip complement her well, and I expect her to further diversify production in her next project. Still a little too predictable for me, and as you can see (below) at Coachella, I don’t know how well this will translate live. Buzz of the day though, so everyone will have their say.
